Tripod is back with comic odes to love and adulthood and indie darlings Die Roten Puntke bring their Germanic punk-pop comedy stylings to the stage. Other comedic-strength-innumbers acts include Skills in Time starring Greg Larsen, Henry Stone, Sam Campbell and featuring Damien Power, Comedy Hits Puberty with a seven-strong line-up and Breakout Comedy with Matt Okine, Rhys Nicholson, Genevieve Fricker and Ronny Chieng all contributing to the mirth making.

Some 2012 highlights: –
WIL ANDERSON – Wilarious
For world class comedy that is intelligent, current and engaging, you can’t look past Wil Anderson.
Widely regarded as the best stand up comedian in this country, when Wil’s not hosting ABC TV’s Gruen Transfer or Gruen Planet, he’s touring his live shows both here and abroad. This is his 17th show and it’s bound to be a ripper.
SAM SIMMONS – About The Weather
A man is standing next to another man, they have nothing in common and nothing to speak of, maybe they can talk about the weather.
After a year that saw him nominated for comedy’s equivalent of an Oscar – the Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award – and take home Best Comedy at the Adelaide Fringe, Australia’s own maestro of suburban absurdism, Sam Simmons, returns fresh from a West End run with a new hour of sublime joy, magnificent stupidity and spectacular facial hair.
FRANK WOODLEY – Bemusement Park
Don’t miss Australia’s most visually compelling comedian as he returns to Brisbane once again wow audiences in his own unique, song singing, limb flinging Woodley way.
Frank is built from funny, it’s in his bones. Wide-eyed, he weaves physical comedy, whimsical songs and stand-up into hilarious, slapstick, drop down hour of fun. Don’t miss this brand new show FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY.
TOM GLEESON – Good One
He’s toured the globe, sold out houses and made a name for himself as a sure bet where laughs are concerned. If you want to laugh, see Tom Gleeson.
Last year’s season completely sold out. This year he is back with a brand new show. Buy a ticket. Good one.
CHARLIE PICKERING – Rodeo, Burqa, Circumcision
Long before appearing on Network 10’s The Project & Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation, Charlie was touring internationally, winning awards and selling-out houses. Now he returns to Brisbane with this cracker of a show. Don’t miss this rare chance to see Charlie away from the television screen and performing in his natural habitat for one night only.
HANNAH GADSBY – Hannah Wants A Wife
Who wouldn’t want a wife? They do things for you. If Hannah had a wife she would have written a better blurb and would be wearing smarter shoes. If that wife were Liz Hurley then she would have had a facelift and a spray tan too.
After returning from six months in the UK with a stellar season in Soho, Hannah Wants A Wife, is the brand new show from one of Australia's 'insert feminine superlative' comedians. Man it will be good.
TOM BALLARD – Doing Stuff
After rave reviews and a year of watching Q&A, Tom returns to Brisbane with a brand spanking new show, about doing stuff to help things.
As a regular on The Project, Spicks and Specks and Can Of Worms, as well as co-hosting triple j’s Breakfast each morning, and touring everywhere from Edinburgh to Alice Springs, Tom Ballard is one of Australia’s most exciting young comedians.
DAVE THORNTON – The Some Of All The Parts
Success is like a tan - people can usually tell when it’s fake. Dave was invited to inspire a class of 12-year-olds; picking a stand-up comedian may have been a mistake.
From regular appearances on Network Ten’s The Project, to rave reviews in Edinburgh and sold out shows in Johannesburg, the world is sitting up and taking notice of Dave Thornton. . Get with the world - see his latest show.
